The alarm goes off early on Sunday morning. You bury your head in the pillow. You can't possily get up at this time. But the thought of playing rugby eventually lifts you from your bed. This is the moment you've been waiting for all week.
Amid the expectant hum of the dressing room you immediately begin to feel better. Having a laugh with your mates always helps. And as soon as you pull on your kit and tie the laces on your boots you feel ready to get out there and perform.
You know the unwritten rule of rugby. Don't turn up in smart gear if you haven't got the talent to back it up. Wearing it says you belive in yourself. It worns the opposition you might be a little bit special.
Before a ball has been kicked you have gained an advantage. Just look at the other team facing you on the other side of the pitch. They know the rules too. Suddenly they don't look up for it. Is that fear in there eyes? You know today is going to be your day.

All garments may discolour due to staining by substances such as mud or grass which may not entirely be removed by washing. Careful adherence to garment care instructions will minimise likelihood of staining. Avoid leaving kit folded or bundled together whilst damp or soiled after use. Soaking garments in luke warm water and detergent ( for approx 2 ) as sson as possible after use can reduce discolouration. The use of pre-wash soakers will assist in the removal of stains, particulary with white kits. Use at least an equal amount of water by volume to that of the garments being soaked or washed. Utilise the pre-wash programme on automatic washing machines. Do not overload washing machine.
