SKINS ICE On contact with skin the cooling substance triggers nerves which transmit signals to the brain which processes them to induce a sensation of “cold”. (The muscles and skin are not actually being cooled, rather the perception is being created. Cooling the muscles would be detrimental, especially during activity). A menthol aroma is further evokes the cool sensation.
SKINS THERMAL Made from a fabric specifically developed by SKINS which is a blend of hollow core fibres and Spandex. This provides superior hand feel and comfort. The hollow core fibres work in a similar way to polar bear fur by trapping heat and releasing it back to your body to keep you warm.
